Overcoming care coordination challenges during COVID-19

The global COVID-19 pandemic has brought an immediate need for providers to remotely communicate and care for their patients. Due to the extreme nature of this health crisis Federal emergency declarations and legislations have been enacted. These actions pave the way for an immediate expansion in the use of telehealth technology in several areas.

“[T]he Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has broadened access to Medicare telehealth services so that beneficiaries can receive a wider range of services from their doctors without having to travel to a healthcare facility…A range of providers, such as doctors, nurse practitioners, clinical psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers, will be able to offer telehealth to their patients.”

MediVisum’s HIPAA compliant video solutions serve providers and patients

MediVisum is video-based patient engagement with features that facilitate seamless operability for both care providers and patients. Our solutions were designed specifically for this purpose. How do I get reimbursed?

The Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has modified the regulations for telemedicine in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Telehealth services may now be delivered to Medicare beneficiaries by phone as long as video capability is available
