MediVisum is a secure, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant web-based video conferencing solution for remote, face-to-face communications between providers and their patients and care teams. The solution offers EMR and practice management features for providers, therapists, private practices, and organizations or can be used alongside existing systems.

Do I have to download anything to run MediVisum?

No, you don’t have to download anything! MediVisum is web-based and you can access it via your internet browser.

What are the technical requirements to use MediVisum?

To use MediVisum, you need:

  •  A computer or mobile device

  • A built-in or external camera

  • A microphone, speakers, or a headphone

  • The latest version of the Google Chrome browser or Firefox browser for computers

  • The latest version of Safari browser for iPads and iPhones  

  • The latest version of Google Chrome browser for Android devices

What Internet connection speed do I need to use MediVisum?

MediVisum operates at low bandwidth levels, however the greater your Internet speed, the greater the overall experience. We recommend: Ping: 25, Download: 3Mbps/sec, Upload: 3Mbps/sec.

How long does it take to set up MediVisum?

It takes less than 24 hours to get set up. Once you create an account on our website, pick a name for your virtual office (url), we will activate your account and send you confirmation within 24 hours so you can begin using your account.

Can I start using MediVisum right away?

MediVisum works within 24 hours of account sign up.

Is MediVisum HIPAA compliant?

Yes, MediVisum complies with physical, administrative, and technical HIPAA’s regulations and with the HIPAA Security Rule. We have policies and procedures in place, and our staff is trained on HIPAA standards. We also conduct annual risk assessment to ensure that our platform continues to meet HIPAA standards.

How much does the subscription to MediVisum cost?

We offer flexible plans and the cost depends on the plan you choose. We don’t have any hidden or additional fees. Please, refer to this page for pricing information.

Do I have to sign a yearly contract to use MediVisum?

No. You do not need to sign any contract with us.

 

How many providers or therapists can I add to one account?

We offer different packages based on the size of your practice. Please refer to our Plans & Pricing for the program that’s right for your business.

Can I use MediVisum outside USA?

Yes, we support most countries.

 

Do you offer a free trial and for how long?

No, but our monthly subscription plans let you cancel at any time.

 

Is it easy for my clients to join online sessions?

It’s even easier than dialing your phone number! They just click the link that was sent to them via text message or email when the appointment was scheduled. For Professional and Deluxe plans, we also send text or email reminders before the appoint begins to avoid “no shows”.

 

Do you offer secure chat and messaging?

Yes, we offer secure 2-way text chat and messaging.

 

Can I collect credit card payments from my clients in MediVisum?

Yes, you can collect credit card payments from your clients either before or after session. Available only on the Deluxe plan.

 

Do you offer invoicing?

Yes, you can also securely send invoices to your clients via our platform. Available only on the Deluxe plan.

 

Does MediVisum allow you to schedule?

Yes, you can schedule both your office and telehealth clients using our scheduler. Your patient will also receive a reminder text or email message about their sessions/meetings. Patient self-scheduler and reminder features are available only on Professional and Deluxe plans. On-demand provider scheduling is available at all plan levels.
